FARMERSVILLE TASK FORCE: The County's Task Force met Thurs., April 21, 2005, at the Farmersville Town Hall. Chairman Jerry Burrell disspelled rumors that the County wants to site its own dump in Farmersville, noting the resources have been dedicated to continue to oppose the project in the DEC permit proceeding despite budget pressures. Mr. Burrell also clarified that, while 1997 state grant money to purchase the dump site for a park had to be returned, the County has not abandoned the plan for a park in Farmersville.
